Engineering Functions

The Engineering Functions menu is used to access the panel's comprehensive test functions and display
important system status information.
At Access Level 3, press the
Scroll down
to view additional engineering menu options (shown below right).
Engineering functions are listed in sections 7.4.1 to 7.4.9.
7.4.1

Device Manager

Using this function you can display, edit and test all the addressable devices stored in the panel's memory
which include loop devices and system devices.
At Access Level 3 > Engineering Functions, press the

To view all the devices on the loop, use the

button and the window shown below left appears.
Loop 1 is shown selected as an example.
Loop Devices window:
- displays loop addresses (up to 66 devices per loop)
- displays loop device icons, examples shown below:
- CAST CA736/CA737 Sounder Controller
- denotes 'no device fitted'
