Assembly

Standard Slip Confi guration
1. Remove the grease fi ttings from the slip yoke before you
assemble the slip yoke and spline shaft sections.
2. Use the grease packet supplied with the slip yoke to apply the
entire amount of grease into the slip yoke. Figure 5.10.

Use a brush to distribute lubricant on the splines. Figure 5.11.
Intall the new shroud onto the spline shaft. Figure 5.12.
