Insert the new bill tray (03015-00046) into the slot in the door. Secure the tray using the four included bolts (02302-00005) and washers (02309-00016). This section covers the conversion of a Model 9640 ATM to a Model 9600 ATM.
- Page 4 9640- -9600 ONVERSION ROCEDURE Slide Release Tab REMOVE 9640 DISPENSER 1. Slide the 9640 dispenser out on its rails. Turn the dispenser power switch to the OFF (O) position and disconnect the power cord. The power cable connector is located next to the power switch, in the top front area of the dispenser.

At the Electronic Journal (EJ), disconnect the EJ-to- Mech data cable, using a small flat head screwdriver to release the connector screws. Remove the cable. - Page 7 9640- -9600 ONVERSION ROCEDURE 10. Connect the EJ-to-Mech Dispenser Cable (09600- INSTALL 9600 DISPENSER SLIDE TRAY 00027) to the Electronic Journal. Route the cable through the cable clips. The SDD slide tray has three sets of holes: Top, Middle and Bottom. Based on the dispenser type, you will use either the Top or Middle holes to attach the slide members, as indicated: TOP set of holes for older mechs.
