3.8 Drying rack

Use the drying rack for items that you do not want to tumble dry, such as sweaters and athletic
shoes.
When you use the drying rack, the drum will continue to rotate, but the rack remains fixed. The
drying rack has been designed to be used only with the Footwear, Synthetics and Airing cycles.
To use the drying rack:
IMPORTANT
Do not remove the lint filter.
1. Open the dryer door.
2. Place the rear bracket on the back edge of the dryer and support the two hooks that are at
the front part of the drying rack on the door opening.
4. Close the door.
5. Select the Footwear to dry shoes, Synthetics to dry, for example, sweaters and Airing
to dry items that contain foam, rubber or plastic.
6. Start the dryer.
NOTE: After the cycle has ended, check the lint filter and remove the accumulated lint from
item that have been dried on the drying rack.
3. Place wet items on the drying rack. Leave space
around the items so that the air may circulate. The
drying rack does not move, but the drum will rotate;
ensure that there is adequate space inside the dryer
drum. Make sure that items do not hang by the
edges or between the grills.
