11. Loosen and remove the module screw with a Torx
screwdriver (TX20).
12. Remove the cover of the power module and store it safely.

The power module may slip while the AC power controller assembly is
being removed.
The power module is located below the AC power controller assembly, and sticks in place
solely by means of the thermal grease on the inverter enclosure. If the AC power controller
assembly is removed without due care, the power module may slip.
• To prevent the power module from slipping, screw the module screw back into the
power module slightly without the cover.
14. Loosen the 6 screws of the AC power controller (AST) assembly with a Torx screwdriver
(TX20) and remove them.
15. Carefully remove the AC power controller (AST) assembly from the inverter enclosure.
16. Note the alignment of the power module positioning
nose so that the new power module can be
positioned identically.
17. Due to the existing thermal grease, the power module can stick to the enclosure. Remove the
screw securing the power module and retain for later use. Detach the old power module from
the enclosure with a rotary motion and remove it.
18. Clean the contact surface of the power module in the enclosure until the old thermal paste is
completely removed.
