Control (brightness, colour temperature. etc.) is effected by means of the App "ecoCloud".
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or converted!
Read these operating instructions completely and carefully as they contain a great deal of impor-
tant information about correct assembly and operation.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!

Explanation of symbols
The lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g., electric shock.
This symbol points to specific risks associated with handling, function and use.
The "arrow" symbol points to special tips and operating information.
The product may only be used in dry, indoor rooms; it must not get damp or wet.
The light can be dimmed.
Safety instructions
T he warranty/guarantee will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these operating instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
Warning!
T he product may be installed only by a qualified technician (electrician) who is famil-
iar with the relevant regulations (e.g., VDE, German electrical wiring regulations)!
I mproper work carried out on the mains voltage endangers not only your own life, but
also the life of others!
I f you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not install it yourself
but ask a qualified technician.
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for safety
and approval reasons (CE).
• The LED overhead light is not a toy and therefore has no place in the hands of chil-
dren! There is danger of a life-threatening electric shock! Install the LED overhead
light so that it cannot be reached by children.
• The LED overhead light may be operated only on the mains voltage (see section
"Technical data"). Never try to operate the product at another voltage, as this will
result in the destruction of the product.
• The LED overhead light is designed according to protection class I; the protective
earth conductor must be connected.
• If there is not a mains supply provided with a protective earth conductor at the place
of installation, the LED overhead light must not be connected/used there. In this
case, install a new voltage supply with a grounding wire.
• During installation, all poles must be disconnected from the mains voltage (e.g., via a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter).
• The LED overhead light may only be installed and used in dry indoor rooms, it must
not get damp or wet! There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
• The LED overhead light may not be operated using a dimmer.
• Do not mount or use the outdoor LED overhead light in rooms, or under adverse
environmental conditions, where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Use the LED overhead light only when it is permanently installed. Never install the
LED overhead light in vehicles.
• Do not hang or attach any items (e.g., decorations) to the LED overhead light.
• The LED overhead light must not be exposed to extremes of temperature, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the LED overhead light immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
After this, arrange for an expert to check the LED overhead light.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the LED overhead light has visible damage,
- the LED overhead light does not work at all or works poorly (flickering light, leak-
ing smoke or a burning smell, audible crackling noises, or discolouration to the
product or to adjacent surfaces),
- the LED overhead light was stored under unfavourable conditions,
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Li-
ability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are to
be observed!
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical department or another specialist.
Preparations for installation
Please observe the chapter "Safety instructions"!
• Only install the LED overhead light on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are suitable
for the surface.
• The LED overhead light must be protected on the distribution board by a 10/16 A fuse. An earth
fault circuit interrupter must be installed before this (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter).
• During installation, the LED overhead light must be disconnected from the power supply. It is not
sufficient to just turn off the light switch!
Switch off all the poles of the mains cable by removing the corresponding fuse or switching off
at the circuit breaker. Switch off the appropriate earth-leakage circuit breaker afterwards.
Secure it against unauthorised reconnection, e.g., with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains leads are without current, e.g., by means of an appropriate tester.
Installation and connection
Pay attention to the information in chapter "Preparations for installation"!
Attaching of the ceiling bracket
• If plugs are needed to affix the ceiling bracket to the ceiling of
the room (depending on the texture of ceiling), mark the posi-
tion of the drill holes through the holes (see arrows in the figure
to the right) in the mounting plate.
When drilling mounting holes or fastening into place,
ensure that no existing electrical cable, gas or water
pipes are damaged.
• Push the mains cable through the appropriate cable bushing
in the ceiling bracket and attach it to the room ceiling using
suitable screws and wall plugs, if necessary.
Attaching the LED overhead light
• Remove the milk coloured round cover from the LED lamp by turning it a bit leftward counter-
clockwise and then detaching it from the base plate on which the LEDs are installed.
• Turn the screws (see arrows in the figure to the right) out a bit.
• Attach now the base plate. First push the mains supply cord
through the appropriate cable bushing of the base plate. Then
place it with the holes provided for this purpose onto previously
unscrewed screws (see arrows, upper figure). The LEDs must
point downwards! Turn the base plate to the right clockwise so
that the screws run into slot ends.
• Tighten both screws securely. The base plate of the lamp
should not wobble and further turning should not be possible.
