8. Repairs
A
Danger!
Repairs to power tools must be
carried out by qualified electricians
only!
Welding machines in need of repair can
be sent to the service centre of your
country. Refer to spare parts list for
address.
Please attach a description of the fault to
the power tool.
9. Environmental Protection
The machine's packaging can be 100 %
recycled.
Worn out power tools and accessories
contain considerable amounts of valua-
ble raw and rubber materials, which can
be recycled.
These instructions are printed on chlo-
rine-free bleached paper.
10. Faults
In case of faults, error messages are dis-
played on the display to help identify the
source of the error.
Simultaneously the Fault LED is perma-
nently lit.
E02
Excess transformer temperature.
− The Excess temperature LED is lit.
− DO NOT switch machine OFF,
in order for the fan to cool the
machine down faster.
− If the temperature has fallen off to
normal levels, the display will show
the welding current again.
You may now continue welding.
E03
The lead to the transformer's tempera-
ture sensor may be broken.
E04
Possible short in the transformer's tem-
perature sensor lead.
E06
The machine's control has detected a
supply voltage of more than 20% below
the rated voltage.
To avoid excess primary currents the
machine shuts down.

, 3 m
− Turn the machine OFF for 5 sec-
onds, then ON again.

E12
The arc did not start within 20 sec after
pressing the torch button.
− The machine shuts down.
− Release torch button.
The
machine is ready to operate again.
E14
Excess temperature of the primary sec-
tion.
E15
The lead to the primary section's temper-
ature sensor may be broken.
E16
Possible short in the primary section's
temperature sensor lead.
E17
Excess temperature of the secondary
section.
