Voltage Sense Amplier and Process Amplier Sections
These sections measure the voltage across the DUT and processes the outputs from the voltage
sense amplier and the current sense amplier. Figure 4-6 shows this section's block diagram.
The voltage sense amplier, which is a dierential amplier, measures the vector voltage across
the DUT via the High-Potential (H
) and Low-Potential (L
) connectors.

The output of the voltage sense amplier is fed back to the signal source section for dry circuit
measurement.
SW1 in the process amplier selects the inputs from the voltage sense amplier and current
sense amplier to be processed. The selected signal is attenuated according to the range
resistor setting. The lter passes the fundamental signal (1 kHz) in order to purify the signal
for accurate and stable measurement. The ltered signal is converted into digital data to be
processed by the digital section.
