Read this before you proceed
This is a brief overview of what is involved in installing a new flow meter or retrofitting an existing flow
meter with a FlowConnect unit. All of the steps listed below are described in full detail the IOM manual.
Before you begin, read this sheet carefully.

Prepare for installation
•
Read the user documentation required for
installation or retrofit. You will find a flow
meter manual and a FlowConnect manual
specific for the product you received.
•
Perform an inventory of the parts using the
parts list in the IOM manual.
•
Assemble the tools you will need.
•
Prepare the site if necessary. Plan where to
install the flow meter, sensors and solar panel.

Activate the FlowConnect unit
After the FlowConnect is installed, you will need to attach the antenna, connect the batteries, and attach the
tamper evident seal.
Activation steps:
1. Attach the antenna.
2. Remove the battery cover
hex driver.
