Document Jams and Paper Jams

Based upon where the original document or printed sheet is jammed, follow the appropriate set of
instructions to remove it.
Document Jam
The documents were not inserted or fed properly, or were too long.

Remove any paper from the ADF that
is not jammed.

Carefully pull the document toward the
front of the machine.

Press Stop/Exit.
Document Jam Inside Back of Control Panel

Remove any paper from the ADF that
is not jammed.

Open the control panel cover.

Pull the jammed document out toward
the back of the machine.
4
Close the control panel cover.
