    8.1 ERROR INDICATION To help the user or the serv ice personnel prom ptly locate the cause of a problem (if any), the facsimile equipm ent incorporates the self- diagnostic functions w hich display error messages for equipment errors and communications errors. For the communications errors, the equipm ent also prints out the transm ission verification report and the communications list.
