Head of microscope drops from
its own weight.
Viewing head improperly
positioned on post.
Objective lenses dirty.
Eyepiece lens dirty.
Eyepiece or condenser lens dirty.
Specimen slide dirty.

SOLUTION
Recharge batteries.
Turn light switch on.
Adjust tension control.
Raise or lower viewing head by
adjusting focusing mechanism.
Clean objective lenses.
Clean eyepiece lenses.
Clean lens. ***
Clean slide.
