2. SETUP RECEIVE
Function Description
1. RING DELAY Number of rings before the
machine answers in F/T, FAX
or TAD (Message Manager)
mode.
2. F/T RING TIME Sets the time for "F/T pseudo-
ring" in F/T mode.
3. FAX DETECT Receive fax messages without
pressing the Start key.
4. REMOTE CODE Enter code to activate or
deactivate machine from a
remote location.
5. REDUCTION Reduces size of image.
6. MEM.RECEIVE Automatically stores any
incoming faxes in its memory
if it runs out of paper.
7. POLLING RX You call another fax machine to --
receive a fax from it.
8. PC INTERFACE Fax Receive Only/PC Priority/
(With MFL Pro for Fax) PC Receive Only
3. SETUP SEND
Function Description
1. COVERPG SETUP Automatically sends a cover
page you program or prints a
sample coverpage.
2. COVERPAGE NOTE Program customized message
for fax cover page.
3. CONTRAST Change lightness or darkness of AUTO
a fax you are sending.
4. RESOLUTION Allows you to change
resolutions page by page.
5. OVERSEAS MODE Adjusts for sometimes difficult
overseas transmissions.
6. CALL RESERVE You can send a fax, then speak
or print a sample call back
message.
7. TIMER Send documents later.
8. POLLED TX Set Polled Transmission for
someone to poll your fax
machine to receive a fax.
