MicaSense camera you can skip steps 2,3,6,7,8, and 9. If you are using a MicaSense camera please reference the integration guide specific to your camera found at www.fieldofviewllc.com/geosnap-ppk-downloads. 1. It is recommended to install the DJI Matrice 200 external GPS module so that the GPS system for the drone has a completely unobstructed view of the sky.

4. Secure the GeoSnap PPK lower mounting bracket using the 4 screws and included hex key to the top of the drone. Field of View GeoSnap PPK Manual...

5. Place the GeoSnap PPK on top of the lower mounting bracket. You must first insert the tab of the GeoSnap PPK into the front receptacle on the lower mounting bracket. Then press down and turn the two quarter-turn studs clockwise until a click is felt to lock the GeoSnap PPK in place. Lift up on the GeoSnap PPK to ensure it is locked in place.

7. Use the provided ziptie and adhesive ziptie mount to organize and secure the DLS 2 ribbon cable to the camera. 8. Plug in the last two connectors of the GeoSnap PPK-to-MicaSense cable into the PWR/TRG and DLS ports of the MicaSense RedEdge-MX.

9. Install the Micasense RedEdge-MX in the M210 Skyport as shown (the cable lengths are optimized for use in gimbal slot II). Field of View GeoSnap PPK Manual...

10. Attach a cable mounting clip in the location shown and route the DLS 2 ribbon cable through it. 11. Next, route the GeoSnap PPK-to-Micasense cable through the same cable clip and use zipties to secure the two cables just below and just above the cable routing clip to prevent the cables from sliding up or down.

(thus preventing damage to the battery). The advantage of using these batteries to power the GeoSnap PPK (as opposed to using power from the drone) is that the GeoSnap PPK can keep logging and maintain GPS lock, even if the drone’s batteries needs to be swapped when mapping large areas.
