ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
NOTE: The emergency driver must be fed from
the same branch as the AC Driver.
STEP 1:
Using customer supplied 90°C minimum rated wire
connectors, make the following electrical connections:
a. Connect the black luminaire lead to the
unswitched voltage supply lead.
b. Connect the white/red luminaire lead
to the switched supply lead.
c. Connect white luminaire lead to the neutral supply lead.
d. Connect ground bare or green/yellow wire
lead to the supply ground lead.
STEP 2:
If dimming is being used, for E1/E2 connection, refer to Lutron
application note #142 (P/N 048162), Ecosystem bus Class 1 and Class
2 listing at www.lutron.com for more information on wiring options. If
dimming is not being used, ensure to cap off the lead.
STEP 3:
Turn the ON/OFF switch on the side of the emergency driver to ON
status when installation is completed and AC power has been supplied.
