Solar settings

INSTALLER SETTINGS: Heating parameters
For menu structure and adjustment ranges

Use this menu if you want to optimize the supply
temperature based on the available solar energy
depending on your region.
Solar optimization
To use as much solar energy as possible, it makes
sense to reduce the supply temperature that is
required by the boiler. With the FB 100, this
reduction can be carried out automatically with
Heating circuit solar optimization depending on
the availability of solar energy.
Heating circuit solar optimization: Influence of
solar output on heat output that feeds into the
heating circuit. At a high value, the supply
temperature of the heating curve is reduced at a
correspondingly greater rate to enable greater
passive solar energy input through the building's
windows. At the same time this reduces a
temperature overshoot in the building and
increases the comfort level.
B Heating circuit solar optimization increase if
the heating circuit heats rooms that have large
south-facing windows.
B Heating circuit solar optimization do not
increase if the heating circuit heats rooms that
have small north-facing windows.
Heating circuit solar optimization
does not start until a calibration
phase of at least 30 days has been
completed after commissioning of
the solar thermal system.

Fault history

Installers can use this option to view the last 20
faults that have occurred on the system (fault
date, source, code and description). The faults
shown first may still be active.
