1. Introduction
Full-face mask CleanAIR® Ultimate GX is designed for use in combination with the protective coverall
CleanAIR® Ultimate and CleanAIR® Chemical 2F Plus PAPR. When used correctly, protection of the face and
the rest of the body is secured. In addition to the respiratory protection, this overpressured suit offers
protection against light sprays, dry particles and liquid chemical sprays against infectious substances,
radioactive particles and combinations of these pollutants.
NEVER disassemble the mask or elements of the CleanAIR® Ultimate GX mask.
Only an authorized service center is able to service a CleanAIR® Ultimate GX mask.
2. Instructions for use
Carefully read and follow the instructions stated in this user manual. The user must know exactly how to
use the protective equipment correctly. In case of any questions, please contact MALINA - Safety s.r.o. or
CleanAIR SAS.
• Never use the mask in the following environments and under the following conditions:
• If oxygen concentration in the environment is lower than 17 %.
• In oxygen ambiances and oxygen-enriched environments.
• In explosive ambiences.
• In environments where the user lacks knowledge about the kind of dangerous substance and its
concentration.
• In environments that represent an immediate threat to the life and health.
• Unknown type and concentration of the gases or vapours in the environment.
• In environments with various mixes of gases and vapours.

• Do not modify or distort the mask and refrain from exerting excessive force on the mask.
• Do not disassemble or modify the face parts.
• Use only original spare and consumable parts.
• Do not use if:
• You have a beard, hair or sideburns reaching into the sealing line of the mask. The requested
protection function of the mask cannot be achieved under such circumstances.
• You are in a poor physical condition.
• Individuals with respiratory or circulatory system disease should consult a physician and go through
a medical examination before use.
• Do not insert towels or any other objects that could cause air-tightness disruption in the space between
the face and the mask sealing line.
• If any of the following problems occur when using the mask, move to a secure location and take
appropriate measures:
• Resistance to breathing increased significantly or you have problems with breathing.
• If you experience stench or irritation or an unpleasant taste while breathing.
• If any of the spare parts are damaged.
• If you feel unwell or if you experience nausea.
• Use only authorized CleanAIR® filters suitable for the particular application. Particle filters do not
protect the user against gases and vapours. Gas filters do not protect the user against any particles.
Use combined filters in case of contamination by both kinds of dangerous substances.
• Do not use filters with expired shelf live.
• Do not use filters that are damaged, malformed, corroded or otherwise.
• The coverall is one use only / do not reuse.
• In case of allergic reactions (ie rash, redness, itching, etc.) related with use of this product, stop using
it and consult a dermatologist.
• This product is intended for use in environments with a temperature range of 0 °C to + 60 °C.
If any rule or instruction stated in this manual is not observed, the warranty becomes null and void!
