Electromagnetic Compatibility
The targets of the EMC guideline 89/336/EEC with respect to radio interference
suppression to EN 50081-1 and interference rejection to EN 50082-2, as well as NAMUR
recommendation NE 21 are observed.
Qualified person
A qualified person in the sense of these Installation Instructions or the warning information
is one who is familiar with the installation, construction, commissioning and operation of
this product and who has the appropriate qualifications, e.g.:
Is trained and authorized to energize, de-energize, ground and tag circuits and devices
or systems in accordance with established safety practices
Is trained in the proper care and use of protective equipment in accordance with
established safety practices
Is trained in first aid.
Warning

operation.
Only suitably qualified staff should work on this device or in its vicinity.
These should be thoroughly familiar with all warnings and maintenance

Preparation

3.1
Jumper Settings - Input Ranges
The jumper settings for the input ranges should be compared with the ordering data at the
latest when installing the recorders.
The label adhered to the transformer lists the channels with their input range possible for
this recorder. The jumpers for setting the input ranges are located underneath the
transparent cover (8, Fig. 1). The jumper setting for the input ranges corresponds to the
ordering data. If a different input range is required on a channel, the jumpers must be
repositioned according to Fig. 5 before connecting the input signals.
