Insertion of Recorder

Insert recorder into prepared panel cut-out, insert the two clamps into the housing opening
and tighten.
When installing without interspacing, make sure that the permissible temperature of use
(see Instruction Manual, Section 7.6, "Ambient Conditions") is not exceeded.
The dimensions required for installation are shown in Fig. 7.

Connection of Power Supply

The power supply is connected at the rear of the recorder according to the version either
via
the appliance plug for AC 115 V or AC 230 V (depending on design) or
screw terminals for the optional design with a DC or AC 24 V supply.

Power Supply AC 115/230 V
Warning
Ensure that the operating voltage of the recorder corresponds with the
mains voltage to be connected.
The recorder may only be converted from AC 115 V to AC 230 V or
vice versa by the manufacturer or by personnel trained by the
manufacturer.
It must be possible to isolate the recorder from the power supply either
using the appliance plug or an easily accessible circuit-breaker for at
least 1.6 A.
The appropriate regulations for the installation of power systems must
be observed (e.g. DIN VDE).
The cross-section of the PE conductor must be at least as large as the
largest cross-section of the power supply, measuring or control line.
Before connecting the appliance plug to the recorder, ensure that the
cable is disconnected from the mains.
Connect mains supply to the provided appliance plug (Fig. 8).
