How to access the Scanner

The instructions for scanning in this Guide are for when you use

Open the software application (ScanSoft
a document.

Select Scan from the File drop-down menu or select the Scan
button.

Select Brother DCP-8045D, Brother DCP-8045D USB or
Brother DCP-8045D LAN from the Scanner drop-down list box.

Click Scan.
If the DCP is connected via:
Parallel-use Brother DCP-8045D
USB-use Brother DCP-8045D USB
LAN-use Brother DCP-8045D LAN
The Brother DCP-8045D, Brother DCP-8045D USB or Brother
DCP-8045D LAN Scanner Setup dialog box will appear:
