glass is provided with this appliance and shall be installed
for the protection of children and other at-risk individuals.
Barrier Screen
A Barrier Screen is being provided to you to install on the Traditional Cast
Front 742CFB. The barrier screen is designed specifi cally to prevent any
contact with the glass of the fi replace which becomes hot during operation
and remains hot when cooling.
Install the barrier screen to the Traditional Cast Front
Place the barrier screen on the lower casting ledge to align it to the upper
casting and push it against the upper casting so the clips snap into place.
To remove the barrier screen for maintenance, push it sideways and pull on
the opposite side then remove it completely. Use a soft brush to clean the
screen.
To clean the fi replace cast front, use a soft brush.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with the
manufacturer's barrier for this appliance.
To clean the stove glass window, refer to the owner's manual supplied with
the appliance. DO NOT clean with ammonia.
