INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Sidewall Co-Linear Terminal Kit
Use ONLY with Valor following heater models:
Portrait 530IN/IP, 530INI/IPI, G3 739-72, Retrofi re RF24JD, H3 1000K
(cannot be used with 530CSK Coal eff ect models)
For Valor heater G3 models 739M, use 720SWK-M kit.
For Valor heater G3.5 and G4 models 700, 780 and 785, use 720SWK-M2 kit.

Overview
The 720SWK Sidewall Co-Linear Terminal Kit allows ap-
proved Valor units listed above only to be vented using
approved 3-inch flexible vent liners to penetrate an ex-
isting masonry solid-fuel burning fireplace and connect
to 720SWK horizontal termination rather than a vertical
termination at the top of the chimney.
530 models. 530IN/IP model fireplaces will also require
a 556CLA Co-Linear Adapter. 530 model fireplaces do
not require de-rating. This kit cannot be used with the
530CSK Coal effect fuel bed.
739-72ILN/ILP models. Use of this kit requires the stan-
dard 739-72ILN/ILP fireplace to be modified by remov-
ing the inlet air restrictors only. No derating is necessary
with this model.
RF24JDN/JDP with RA24CL models. Use of this kit
requires a RF24JD firebox with a RA24CL Co-linear Vent
Plate. Note: The vent restrictor plates located within inlet
collar of the co-linear vent plate will need to be adjust-
ed—see RF24JD installation section of this manual.
1000KN/KP models. Use of this kit requires a 1000CLA
Co-Linear Adapter.

    Installation Prepare existing masonry fireplace Apply warning plate supplied with fireplace to inside of existing masonry fireplace A few points must be considered before inserting the gas fireplace into an existing fireplace cavity. Verify the structural integrity of the existing fireplace before installing the gas insert and liners.
