13.4.2. About the test operation
• Test operation can be carried out using the remote control unit or by using the switch on the printed circuit board inside the
outdoor unit.
• If carrying out test operation at the printed circuit board of the outdoor unit, follow the procedure given below. (If using the remote
control unit to carry out test operation, refer to the installation manual which is supplied with the indoor unit.)
• Press the SW1 with the PUMP DOWN setting mode for 1 second or more. The LED will operate as follows during test operation.
(Be sure to select cooling mode first, and run the units in this mode for 5 minutes or more.)
• Press the TEST switch once more to cancel test operation mode. (Test operation will be cancelled automatically after 30
minutes.)
13.4.3. About the pump down operation
• Operate the pump down according to the following procedures.
1. Confirm the valve on the liquid side and the gas side is surely open.
2. Press the SW1 with the PUMP DOWN setting mode on outdoor printed circuit board for 1 second or more. Perform the cool-
ing operation for 10 minutes or more.
3. Set the liquid side 3 way valve to the close position and until when the gauge indicates at 0.01 a (0.1kg/cm 2 G).
4. Immediately set the gas side valve to the close position and press the SW1 (stop the operation unit).
