Following Backup Guidelines

Stop Backups If the library is configured with a single power supply, the
library has lost power and will not power back on until the power supply
has been replaced.
Continue Backups If the library is configured with two power supplies,
the library is still operational with a single power supply functioning;
backup operations can continue while you replace the failing component.

Locating and Preparing the Malfunctioning Power Supply

One Power Supply Installed If you only have one power supply installed,
flip the power switch to the "off" position and disconnect the power cord,
then proceed to
Two Power Supplies Installed If you have two power supplies installed
and AC input to both, follow these steps to determine which power supply
is malfunctioning:
1. Power the library on, then access the back of the library.
2. Check the power supply LEDs, as shown below.
3. Locate the power supply on which the DC Output (top) LED is off.
4. Flip the power switch to the "off" position and disconnect the power cord.

LED lights and meaning:
Solid green — the power supply is operating normally.
Off (unlit) — the power supply is malfunctioning.
