Alarm

The alarm sounds daily at the programmed
time and the message "ALARM", the time
and the date are shown on the display. The
alarm signal stops after 40 seconds or
when you lift the handset.
When the telephone is off-hook at the time,
there will be no audible alarm tone, only the
message will appear on the display. The
volume of the alarm is always the same
regardless
of
the
volume.
The ringer melody matches the melody
programmed for call signaling, and the
ringer rhythm of the alarm signal (1 second
followed by a 3 second pause) is distinct
from the normal rhythm generated by the
Central Office exchange.
If there is a collision between the incoming
call and the alarm, the incoming call takes
priority. This means that
• The ringer will have the same rhythm as
the call signal;
• If call identification has been enabled, the
alarm message will not be displayed.
