MUTE key

When you press the MUTE key
call, the microphone is switched off and the
other party cannot hear you. The
will appear on the display while MUTE is
activated.
To
conversation, press the MUTE key
again. While MUTE is enabled, the other
party will hear music on hold (MOH). If
necessary, MOH can be disabled. When
MOH is disabled, you will be able hear the
other party whereas the other party will not
be able to hear you.

Enabling MOH

Press the MENU key
Use the DIAL/SELECT key to select
the CONFIGURATION option
Use the ARROW keys to select the Y
options
Use the DIAL/SELECT key to select
the MUSIC ON MUTE option
Use the ARROW keys to select the
desired option (Y-MOH enabled, N-
MOH disabled)
Press the MENU key

PAUSE key

This key can be used when the telephone
is connected to a PBX system. It inserts an
interdigit pause (the default pause is 2
seconds – to change this setting see Other
configurations on page 10), starting with
the first digit when you press the PAUSE
key
. These pauses are essential for
some systems with extension lines and can
be stored in memories, in the Originating
Calls list or on the REDIAL key

FLASH key
The FLASH key

telephone is connected to a digital Central
Office or to a PBX system.
The default flash is 250 ms. It may be
necessary to program a different flash time
(see Other configurations on page 10). If
you are not sure about the correct flash
time, refer to the documentation of your
PBX to check what the recommended time
is.

Memories

The telephone has 12 memories. Numbers
can be stored on the following keys:

With the handset on-hook, the stored
numbers can be displayed by pressing the
MEM key

respective register, as shown in the figure
