Description
Select EDIT next to the wireless network you want to configure. You will be
taken to the Private Wi-Fi Network Configuration page for the radio band where
you can configure wireless network name, security mode and wireless password.

Click here to be taken to the Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) page, where you
can enable WPS, select the connection method and simplify connection to your
wireless network. Refer to
This field displays the wireless network name, also called the SSID (service set
identifier) for the GUEST 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios. The wireless network name
will appear in the list of available wireless networks for the client device wishing
to connect. The default wireless guest network names are listed here, and are
defined as follows:
"WIFI" plus the last 6 characters of the gateway's cable modem MAC address (all
in upper case), then "-GUEST." "-5G" is added before "-GUEST" when the 5GHz
radio band is being used. "-2" is added to the end for additional guest network
SSIDs.
Example guest SSIDs with cable modem MAC address 64:7C:34:FE:0D:17
 2.4GHz: WIFIFE0D17-GUEST
 5GHz: WIFIFE0D17-5G-GUEST
 2.4GHz: WIFIFE0D17-GUEST-2
 5GHz: WIFIFE0D17-5G-GUEST-2
NOTE: You can change the guest network SSIDs to personalized network names.
The process is the same as it is for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz primary networks. Refer

If you change the SSID, the device does not revert to the default value when the
device is power cycled, but does revert to this default value if the device is reset
to factory defaults.
Lists the radio frequency band, 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
Displays the wireless MAC addresses for each wireless interface.
Displays the current security mode in use for each wireless band.
