Vehicle Disassembly 1. Insert a plastic trim tool along the bottom edge of the climate controls to release the four retaining clips. Unplug the two connectors from the climate controls. 2. Remove the four 10mm bolts located below the Hazard/Clock panel.

Vehicle Disassembly 3. Using two hands behind the Hazard/Clock area, pull the radio assembly outward to release the retaining clips on the sides and top. Pull entire radio assembly forward, disconnect all wire harnesses from rear of radio and Hazard/ Clock panel and remove the radio assembly.

OBD-2 Adapter Parts Needed: From the RP4.2-TY11 Box: OBD-2 Adapter The OBD-2 Adapter provides vehicle data for the radio to operate properly. The adapter can be unplugged for service access to the OBD-2 port. If the OBD-2 port is being used by another accessory, the CAN wires can be professionally soldered behind the port and the adapter eliminated.
GPS Antenna Parts Needed: From the HEIGH10 Box: GPS Antenna GPS Mounting Plate The GPS antenna is required for proper operation of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Along the back of the inner dash opening, there is a air duct (shown shaded in gray below) running across the top.
USB Extension Parts Needed: SSUSB2 Dual USB Extension Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and any Firmware Updates require access to a USB port. SSUSB2 is designed to extend the USB ports on the back of the HEIGH10 to where they are accessible once the radio is installed.
Harness Connections Parts Needed: All Harnesses from Pages 6-7 From the HEIGH10 Box: 24 Pin A/V Harness (Optional) From the RP4.2-TY11 Box: RP4.2-TY11 Control Module On the side of the RP4.2-TY11 module, set dip switch 3 down into the ON position.

Vehicle Installation Inside the vehicle with the HEIGH10 radio module/mounting kit assembly, RP4.2-TY11 and the HEIGH10 display, start by making the connections to the RP4.2-TY11 as shown below. 2. Connect the factory radio plugs to the corresponding plugs on the RP4.2-TY11 1.

Vehicle Installation After all connections are complete, bundle and secure excess wire and cables behind the radio. Securely mount the RP4.2-TY11 module out of the way. Position the radio assembly close enough to plug the factory connector into the back of the Hazard/Clock module and then carefully slide the radio assembly into place.

Vehicle Reassembly 1. Reinstall the four 10mm bolts below the Hazard/Clock panel. 2. Reconnect the climate control plugs. Align the four climate control retaining clips and press firmly into place.
