My GOGEAR MICRO JUKEBOX failed to operate after being formatted using Windows
Explorer.
The system files have been erased during the formatting process.
1.
Connect your GoGear micro jukebox to your PC via USB. Open your Digital Media Manager
(DMM) application, the system files should rebuild automatically.
2.
Transfer a couple of songs into your hdd to confirm if the GoGear micro jukebox has fully recovered
all the files.
3.
Click the Eject Hardware icon on the Windows task bar and select the STOP USB Mass Storage
Device from the pop up menu. Follow the screen instructions to unplug your GoGear micro jukebox.
If you see a "Try stopping the device again later" message on your PC screen, try closing DMM, or
other applications which are running on your PC and then click the eject hardware icon again.
4.
Disconnect the hdd from your PC and press POWER to switch on the player again.
(Note: If you have your hdd formatted in the NTFS file system, then you need to reformat
your Jukebox again in the FAT32 file system with Windows Explorer before restoring the
firmware.)

How come I have found duplicated music files on my GoGear micro jukebox?
You probably had the hdd connected before to 2 different PCs, both at home and at work, with the same
songs. The songs from each PC may have been transferred when performing an update.

I had the DMM application launched and then hooked up my GoGear micro jukebox to the
computer. The DMM does not recognize my GoGear micro jukebox.
Close and re-launch the application and see the software recognizes your device. Make sure that your
GoGear micro jukebox is connected to the computer before you launch the DMM application.
If your computer is running on Windows 98 SE. The COM libraries of your Windows 98 SE
operating system may not be properly registered on your computer. For detail on how to resolve this
issue please refer to the interactive troubleshooting on our support site of the URL

My music folder located in the desktop root has a lot of tracks installed, but they don't show
up in the library of the DMM application.
Do not keep any music files in the Desktop root Directory. Move your music folder to c:\my documents\
and then in DMM click PREFERENCES. Then select Media folder and click ADD or EDIT to
pinpoint the new location of your Media Folder. Your music files should now show up in the Library.

disconnected from power. Tip: To reset your player, press and hold the two keys together: Vol + and
the Up key on front of your hdd
Close DMM
Connect your player and restart DMM
Your player should be connected properly
