Installation
The meters must be installed in-line as part of a dispense system as shown in Fig. 1. The typical installation shown
is only a guide for selecting and installing an in-line meter; it is not an actual system design. Contact your Graco dis-
tributor for assistance in designing a system to suit your needs.
All electrical wiring must be done by a qualified elec-
trician and comply with all local codes and regula-
tions.
Do not use the IM5 In-line Electronic Meter in sys-
tems where the operating pressure exceeds the max-
imum pressure of the meter or any other component
in the system.

NOTICE
Do not use PTFE tape on threaded connections to
the meter. Such use could contribute to over-tight-
ening of the parts and cause the meter housing to
crack. Standard pipe thread compound is recom-
mended.
