Wiring

Take into consideration the installation environment and the positioning system position when you plan
for the wiring. To ensure a stable power supply and signal transmission, closely follow the rules below:
Become familiar with the installation environment before wiring, including wiring distance, wiring
environment, keeping magnetic-field interference away, etc.
Make sure the rated voltage of the cable is higher than what the device requires, thus guaranteeing the
device will work normally when voltage instability occurs.
Avoid interrupting the line connection.
It is recommended to use a single complete cable for the device connection; if not, take reinforcement
and protective measures for wiring between two cables, in case circuit aging causes the device to work
abnormally.
Make sure the video cable and the signal transmission cable are well protected. Pay attention to
reinforcement and protective measures during wiring.
Make sure the cables are not too redundant or being stretched too tightly.
Under normal circumstances, the wiring is completed by professional technicians. However, when the
device does not work normally, check the above information to look for reasons.
Waterproofing Cable Terminal
Purpose
The terminals may rust after a long period of being exposed. It is recommended to apply waterproof
treatment to cable terminals.
Steps
1. Use the terminal box for wiring.
2. The live wire and null wire of outsource should be connected to the power surge protector.
3. Apply waterproof treatment to cable terminals.
