2 - DESCRIPTION
The MOD-WL16 allows the creation of mixed systems (wire – wireless), connecting up to 16
devices of the Defender WL system to a DEFENDER HYBRID control panel through a bidirec-
tional radio connection. The information exchange between the MOD-WL16 module and the
control unit is made by a BUS connection. The module can interface with the indoor infrared
detectors and the magnetic detectors and also permits a radio connection with the outdoor
sirens and the outdoor infrared sensors.
Furthermore, the installation can be managed by the WL04TC remote control. The wire-radio
interface is compatible with all indoor and outdoor sensors, sirens and remote controls of the
WL series (TEATRO B-WL TEATRO M-WL, MB-WL, MM-WL, MB2-WL, MM2-WL, IRPET-WL,
TC5-WL, SEL-WL, IREX-WL, IR2EX-WL, TC4-WL, SEL04-WL, KEYBY-WL, HELPY-WL).
The device can be easily programmed by the T8N keypad or by a PC (with a MOD-USB).
