GENERAL INFORMATION

1 .1 General precautions

After removing the packing, check the integrity and
completeness of the contents. If they do not corre-
spond, contact the

This product must be installed by a legally qualified
heating engineer. On completion of the installation,
the installer must issue the owner with a declara-
tion of conformity confirming that the installation has
been completed to the highest standards in com-
pliance with the instructions provided by
instruction manual, and that it conforms to all appli-
cable laws and standards.

The installation area must be dry. Respect the mini-
mum distances for maintenance and installation.

- Set the master switch on the system to OFF
- Empty the solar circuit (if present) and the thermal
system
- Close the water system interception devices.

If the boiler is part of a solar system, mix anti-free-
ze (glycol propylene), available separately, with wa-
ter in a variable percentage (30÷50%), following the
instructions described in the
maintenance manual.

Always fill the solar system (if present) with the glycol/
water mix in the percentage indicated in the
setting up and maintenance manual.

This instructions booklet is an integral part of the unit
and consequently must be kept with care and must
ALWAYS accompany the unit, even when this is tran-
sferred to another owner or user or transferred onto
another system. If it gets damaged or lost, request
another copy from the local
Centre.

1 .2 Fundamental safety rules

The use of products that use of electricity and water re-
quires the observation of some fundamental safety rules
such as:

The use of the unit by unassisted disabled persons or
children is forbidden.

parts of the body that are wet or humid.

without authorisation and the indications of the boiler
manufacturer.

coming out of the boiler, even when disconnected
from the mains power supply.

agents because it is not designed for outdoor ope-
ration.

material within the reach of children as it can be a
source of risk.

In the case of a loss of pressure in the solar system
it is forbidden to top up with just water, as there is a
risk of freezing.

which are untested or unsuitable for use in solar sy-
stems (expansion tanks, pipelines, insulation).

1 .3 Description of the appliance
