8.2.3 Method to sticking labels

The label is usually pasted to the position 6cm–8cm to the end of cable. For special conditions,
you can stick the label according to the actual condition. For example, the label should not be
pasted in a place where the cable may be bended or other places that may affect the cable
installation. After sticking the label to the cable, the long-strip text area should be rightward or
downward, as shown in Figure 8-8.

The steps to stick labels are shown below:
Step 1 Peel off the written or printed labels from the full label paper.
Step 2 Ensure the label location (usually 6cm–8cm to the end of cable, or according to the actual
situation).
Step 3 Stick the middle part of label to the cable and then wrap the two ends of the label.
Step 4 Stick the two ends of the label, as shown in Figure 8-9.
To make the handwriting identifiable and elegant, you should write the words according
to the standard font template (Times New Roman) as much as possible. Table 8-1 shows
the standard font template.

The font size is flexible according to the number of characters or letters. It requires
filling the information of Chinese characters clearly and beautifully in a medium size.
Writing direction: the writing direction of label content is shown in Figure 8-7.
