DELIVERING LATTE MACCHIATO
There are different ways to prepare latte
macchiato.
Method 1 (Automatic latte macchiato)
Do not use the milk frothing jug to conserve the
beverages. Always clean the jug thoroughly
after each use.
Open the milk frothing jug and fill it to latte

macchiato level. Close the jug and position it on
the machine.
Check the jug is positioned correctly and keys 3
and 4 are lit up with steady light.
With the capsule loading arm open, insert

the Lavazza FIRMA capsule in the appropriate
pod-holder.
Check that a capsule has been inserted. If there
is no capsule, the machine will delivery water,
not coffee.
Check there is enough water in the tank before
preparing latte macchiato.

3 Lower the capsule loading arm.

LATTE MACCHIATO BREWING

Press the latte macchiato key to start the machine.

After a few seconds the machine will start to warm
and froth the milk. When ready, the machine de-
livers the measure of coffee in the jug and stops
automatically.
Method 2 (Latte macchiato in 2 steps)
Open the milk frothing jug and fill it to latte

macchiato level. Close the jug and position it on
the machine.
Check the jug is positioned correctly and keys 3
and 4 are lit up with steady light.
Press and hold the latte macchiato key for 3

seconds, until the machine starts. Release the key.
After a few seconds the machine starts warming
and frothing the milk.
When ready the machine stops without automati-
cally pouring the coffee in the jug.
Open the jug and pour the milk into the cup.

Do steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 in paragraph FREE

MEASURE ESPRESSO DELIVERY, and pour the
coffee onto the frothed milk.
