Cleaning the filter while dry
The lint filter can be hygienically and
easily cleaned using a vacuum
cleaner.
^ Remove the lint with your fingers, or
use a vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the lint filter with water
If there is a great deal of compacted lint
on either part of the filter, they can be
cleaned under hot running water.

Dry the two sections thoroughly
before reassembling them. A damp
or wet filter could cause operational
faults when the dryer is switched on.

If there is a heavy build-up of lint
in the ducting, the ducting should
also be cleaned before the clean
filter is replaced.

^ Reassemble the inner and outer
sections of the filter.
^ Slowly turn the inner section of the
filter clockwise until it you hear it
click.
^ Hold the filter by the handle, and
push it into the ducting until it clicks
into place.
Do not turn the handle while you are
pushing it back into the ducting, or
the filter will come apart.
^ Close the access panel to the filter
housing.
