Position the faucet and sealing rings on the mount-
ing surface.
Install the fiber washers, metal washers, and
mounting nuts. Tighten the tensioning screws.
Install the quick connect adapters on the valves.
Make sure that they are tightened very firmly.
Firmly push the diverter assembly onto the adapt-
ers, one side at a time.

Make sure that the hexagonal sides of the diverter
assembly and the adapters align.
Make sure that the clip groove on the adapter
slot
clip
and the side slots on the diverter are aligned.
Push the clip through the slots and into the groove.

The cold side block must be
connected to the cold side of
the faucet or the faucet will not
function.
There must be no gap between
the adapter and the diverter
assembly.
