PAUSE button
Depress this button to temporarily stop the tape
during recording or playback. This facility is
convenient in cutting out commercials, thus
permitting you to record only the program that
you want or making a memo while listening to the
tape. When recording, if you set to the record
mode after depressing the PAUSE button, the
recording will start at the same time you release
the PAUSE button. This permits you to make
beautiful, timely recordings
beginning.
REC MUTING lever
Employ this lever to insert a non-recorded tape
section of any desired length between different
programs. It is convenient in recording radio
broadcasts or from other tape recorders.
1. After having recorded one program, hold the
REC M U T I N G lever toward you and allow for
about 2 — 3 seconds.
This lever does not lock.
The level meters deflect when the lever is
flipped, enabling monitoring of the sound
source with headphones or speakers.
2. Depress the PAUSE button to stop and con-
serve the tape.
3. Release the REC M U T I N G lever.
4. Depress the PAUSE button again when you
start recording the next program.

Boton de pausa (PAUSE)
Presione este boton para detener temporalmente la cinta
mientras se graba o se reproduce. Esta facilidad es con-
veniente para cortar comerciales, asi' le permite grabar solo
el programa que usted desea o hacer un memorandum
mientras escucha la cinta. Mientras esta grabando, si usted
coloca en la fase de grabacion despues de presionar el boton
de pausa (PAUSE), la grabacion empezara al mismo tiempo
que usted suelta el boton de pausa (PAUSE). Esto le permite
hacer grabaciones bonitas y en tiempo desde el principio.

Palanca de silenciamiento de la grabacion (REC
MUTING)
Utilizar esta palanca para insertar una seccion sin grabar
del largo deseado entre un programa y otro. Es conveni-
ente para la grabacion de emisiones radiales o para grabar
desde otra grabadora.
1. Luego de haber grabado un programa, mantener la
palanca de
MUTING) hacia usted, y dejar pasar 2 o 3 segundos.
* Esta palanca no se traba
Los medidores de nivel deflexionan cuando la palanca
se mueve, permitiendo la monitoracion de la fuente
de sonido con auriculares o altavoces.
2. Presionar el boton de pausa (PAUSE) para conservar
cinta.
3. Soltar la palanca REC M U T I N G .
4. Presionar el boton de pausa (PAUSE) nuevamente para
comenzar a grabar el proximo programa.
