Cautions:
1. The batteries cannot be used while the power
cord is connected. If you want to use the
batteries unplug the power cord.
2. When you are not going to use the radio
cassette recorder, remove the plug from the
wall outlet.
C. Operation on a car battery
Connect the external DC input jack (DC 12V) to
the cigarette lighter socket using the car battery
cord. For details, see the adapter's instruction
manual.
The center pin of the DC input jack (DC 12V)
of this unit stands at © polarity. Do not employ
a car battery cord having a connector with a
center terminal being at © polarity, since
damage will result to the unit. Use the specified
cord or the equivalent.
D. Checking the batteries
Note:
If you are going to use the unit continuously for a
longer period of time or with a rather loud speaker
output volume, it is recommended to replace the
batteries a bit earlier than the battery meter
indication suggests.

corriente esta conectado. Si quiere usar las bateri'as
desconecte el cordon de corriente.
2. Cuando usted no va a usar el aparato, quite el cordon de
la tome de corriente.
C. Operacion con baten'a de carro
Conecte la base de contacto de CC externa (DC 12V) al
conector del encendedor de cigarrillos usando el cordon par
baten'a de carro. Para detalles, vea el manual de instruccions
del adaptador.
La clavija central del conector de entrada de CC (CC
12V) de esta unidad trabaja con polaridad negative ©.
No utilice un cordon de bateri'as del coche con un
terminal central con polaridad positiva © , ya que esto
resultara en danos a la unidad. Use el cordon especi-
ficado o su equivalente.
D. Revision de las bateri'as
Nota:
Se recomienda cambiar las bateri'as un poco antes de lo
recomendado por la lectura del medidor de la carga de
estas, si se va a usar la unidad durante un pen'odo largo de
tiempo o si se necesita un nivel alto de volumen.
