2-2. Error Logs
The unit has the logging function to log the detected errors (ERROR, WARNING and CONDITION)
besides the self-diagnostic function to detect the abnormalities of the unit.
The error log can be checked from <ALARM> _ <ERROR LOG> _ LOG in the DIAG menu.
In addition, the LOG display is added to one of the LCD displays to be selected using the MENU key by
turning on the setting of <DISPLAY SELECT> _ ERROR LOG of the SYSTEM in the setup menu.
Displaying and logging of the WARNING items are selectable by setting from <ALARM> _ <ERROR
LOG> _ CANCEL EDIT in the DIAG menu.
The items to be logged are as follows:

warning displays when abnormality occurs.

Description
The battery voltage has reached the warning setup value
(It is set by the DIAG (ALARM) menu)
Power supply to the camera has stopped because a BP-90A is used as
the power supply to the camera
The power supply setting to the camera is turned ON even though a
BP-90A is inserted
Data of the serial digital input signal is not valid
Capstan servo loop has unlocked during recording or playback or editing
CAMERA INPUT is selected as the reference signal but no input signal is fed
A reference input signal has been set. However, no input signal is
supplied to the selected reference input so that the unit operates on the
internal reference signal
LTC signal is not recorded on tape
SDI input is selected as the reference signal but no input signal is supplied
The playback head does not read out the digital data from the tape
Continuity of the recorded data on a tape is lost due to the cause that the
pre-recorded tape has already the discontinuity of the pre-recorded data
in its pre-roll segment before implementing the assemble edit or auto
assemble mode, or due to the cause that the recording starting point has
been specified on a tape
Tape has reached its tape end
Tape has reached its near end. (Remaining amount of tape is scarce)
The video clock generator PLL does not lock in with the video reference signal
Description
Deterioration in the quality of audio playback signal
Deterioration in the quality of video playback signal
