1-5. Removing and Reinstalling the Cabinets

Before performing the following procedure, be sure to turn off the main power and unplug the power cord
or remove the battery.
Battery Case
1. Remove the top panel and bottom panel.
2. Disconnect the connector CN915 from the MB-825 board. While releasing the FASTON terminal
lock, disconnect the FASTON terminal CN932 from the MB-825 board.
3. Remove the four screws (B3 x 6) and remove the battery case.
4. Disconnect the FASTON terminal from CN422 on the FU-76 board.
5. Remove the battery case from the unit.
Top Panel
Loosen the four coin screws and move the top panel in the direction of the arrow to remove it.
Front Cover
Remove the two screws (B3 x 6) and remove the front cover.
Front Panel
1. Remove the front cover.
2. While lifting up the C lock arm of the cassette compartment by fingers, rotate the red gear in the
direction of the arrow (front panel side) and slide the cassette compartment by about 10 to 20 mm.
Remove the two screws (B3 x 6) and the two washers at the position marked * in the following
figure.

The washers are also removed in the above procedure; keep the washers removed.

3. Remove the three screws (B3 x 6) of the front panel from the bottom panel side.
4. Remove the four knobs and remove the front panel.
Switch cover can sometimes drop. Be careful not to lose it.
Reinstallation Precaution
After reattaching the front panel, check to see that the switch cover is installed with it.
