Alarms

6.5.1
Alarm settings
In the alarm settings menu, select the machine's low level
sensors for seed, fertiliser and BioDrill (B).
An alarm delay (A) in seconds should also be specified
here.

When an alarm is triggered, a pop-up window appears in
front of the machine symbol containing information about
the nature of the alarm. At the same time, the alarm
symbol is lit and an acoustic signal attracts attention. The
pop-up window can show a maximum of two alarms. If
there are more alarms, this is indicated with a row of dots
on row three. The number of alarms is also shown in the
alarm symbol. See point A in "Figure 6.17 The alarms

6.5.2
Alarms menu
If you press the "OK" button, the popup window
will close; the alarm and the reason for the alarm
will remain active. Press the log to re-enter the
alarms menu.
Enter the alarms menu by pressing the log. See (A) in
"Figure 6.17 The alarms menu for alarm messages".
The alarms menu shows a list of all alarms that have not
been acknowledged. Select an alarm by using the UP/
DOWN arrows on the VT or press an alarm field on the
iPad. Information on the alarm is shown in the new
window and the alarm can be acknowledged.

If an alarm concerns different sections, e.g. right or left
seed meter, this is specified with RIGHT/LEFT or BOTH
in the alarm text.

Remedy the fault(s) that caused the alarm(s) and
acknowledge one alarm at a time or all the alarms at once.
A. Log
B. Move UP the list of alarms.
C. Acknowledge individual alarms.
D. Move DOWN the list of alarms.
E. Acknowledge all alarms.
F. Go to previous view
If there are critical alarms, they must all be
acknowledged before work can continue. If there
is a critical alarm, the feed is shut off!
In section "12 Alarm list" all alarms are
described with the suggested action required.
6.5.3
Alarm levels
Yellow marking means Warning.
Operation of the machine may continue, but the error
condition should be remedied as quickly as possible.
Red marking means Critical. If a critical alarm is
triggered, the feed on all seed meters stops.
The error condition must be dealt with and the alarm
acknowledged before the output is restarted.
