Installing the appliance

After installing the hood, the minimum distance
must be 650 mm between the product and any
other electrical cooker and 650 mm between
the product and other gas cookers or cookers
using other types of fuels (Fig. 7).
6.1 Installing and unpacking
the appliance
Check whether the appliance presents faults.
• Any faults caused by transport should be im-
mediately reported to the courier service.
• Visible faults must also be communicated to
the seller.
• Do not allow children to play with the packag-
ing material!!!

• Make sure that there is an adequate air
inlet to allow your product to operate effi-
ciently and with a low operating noise.
• Adjust the fan speed according to the in-
tensity of the vapors in the kitchen. Use
the intense settings only if needed. A lower
fan speed setting means lower energy con-
sumption.
• If there is a high amount of smoke in the
kitchen, select a higher fan speed. The hood
must operate for a longer period in order to
eliminate the smoke already spread in the
kitchen.
• Turn off the hood when not in use.
• Clean or replace the filter within the spec-
ified time intervals in order to increase the
efficiency of ventilation and to avoid a fire
hazard.
