Usage with or without carbon filter
You may use this appliance in the exhaust air
mode and the ventilated air mode.

4.1 Exhaust air mode

The suctioned air is cleaned by the grease fil-
ters and is exhausted through a piping system
(Fig. 4).

The exhaust air does not have

to be transferred to an active
fume or exhaust air tube, nor to
a chimney, in order to ventilate
the areas where the heat sourc-
es are installed.
• If you wish to transfer the exhaust air in an
inactive waste fume or gas exhaust tube,
you must get permission from an author-
ized chimney sweep.
• If the exhaust air is exhausted through the
external wall, you must use a telescopic
wall tray.

4.2 Air circulation mode

The suctioned air is cleaned by the grease fil-
ters and by an active carbon filter and is then
retransferred in the kitchen (Fig. 5).

To retain substances that produce odor in ven-
tilated air mode, you must attach an active car-
bon filter. Refer to your authorized distributor
for more available options of using the appli-
ance in the ventilated air mode. You can pur-
chase the products required for this process at
the sales points, the authorized service units or
the online sales center.
