Drain hose for condensed
water
The condensed water is pumped away
through the drain hose which is
located at the back of the dryer.
Arranging the drain hose
Risk of damage to the drain hose
due to improper use.
The drain hose can be damaged and
may leak.
Do not pull on the drain hose and do
not stretch it or allow it to become
kinked.
Useful tip: Use the bow-shaped guide
to prevent the drain hose from
becoming kinked.
Drain hose length: 1400 mm
Delivery head: 1000 mm
 Pull the drain hose out of the clips.
Drain hose connection options
Useful tip: Follow the warnings
regarding leakage or backflow of water
when selecting one of the following
connection options.
- Directed into a laundry tub or trough
- Connected securely to a floor drain
(gully)
- Connected directly to a laundry tub
or trough drain outlet
- Connection to a drainage system
already in use by another appliance,
e.g. a dishwasher or washing
machine
Risk of water damage.
Should the end of the hose come
loose, overflowing water can cause
damage.
Secure the drain hose carefully (e.g.
by tying it) to make sure it cannot
slip.
Danger of condensed water
backflow.
Water could flow back into the
tumble dryer or be drawn into it. The
tumble dryer will sustain damage
and water will leak out.
The non-return valve should be used
if the end of the hose is immersed in
water or mounted onto other water-
bearing connections.
A non-return valve kit is available as an
optional accessory for external
condensed water connections.
