Appliance description Introduction The appliance is designed for use in the home for extracting cooking odours from above a cooking area and can be used in the extraction or recirculation mode. 3 Operating the appliance Operating the appliance The appliance can be operated using the operating and display elements on the appli- ance or the remote control (available as an accessory). Using for the first time Appliance configuration The model can be used to extract or recirculate air. The appliance is set up ex-factory for use in the extraction mode. -

CleanAir The CleanAir function cleans (recirculation mode) or extracts (extraction mode) the air periodically. This runs every hour for 10 minutes on power level 1. 4 Care and maintenance Long-life activated charcoal filters The long-life activated charcoal filter should be cleaned and reactivated every 3 to 6 months and whenever the saturation indicator alarm is triggered. Depending on intensity of use, do not exceed 5–8 regeneration cycles. If properly cared for, the service life of the long-life activated charcoal filter is up to 3 years. -
