TRIP UNIT
TBoth the ST ZSI as the GF ZSI Delay Bands are set independently
using the same bands and op ons as the standard device.
When a ZSI input received an upstream breaker will temporarily
delay it' s tripping on the Instantaneous (I) device un l the fault
is cleared by the downstream device.
2.2.6 Communica on (Com)
The Mpro N type Trip Unit can op onally be equipped with the
Modbus communica on protocol. For this device to func on
correctly +24 VDC external power must supply the trip unit.
The connec on to Modbus are made via speci cally assigned
connec on points located on the standard terminal block
on the top of the ME09 circuit breaker.
The Trip Units are fully compliant with Modbus Protocol. Full
details of the Modbus protocol can be found in the Modbus
Protocol Speci ca on.Two wire Modbus 485 are supported.
The link Host may operate at a 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600
or 19200-baud rate. An overview of the communica on
parameters and register is included in Sec on 2.5 of this
manual.
