Please ensure that the breaker is placed in tripped posi on, that
the opera on indicator shows OFF and that the mechanisms
springs are fully discharged.
Whilst li ing, do not touch the circuit breakers isola ng
contacts.
Circuit Breaker Removal from the Casse e
Li the circuit breaker clear of the draw out support slides using the
hand grips on either side (Fig. 1.3) or the li ing eyes (Fig. 1.4).

1. Ensure the casse e posi on indicator shows DISCONNECTED
and racking handle is disengaged. (Fig. 1.5).
2. Fully extend the casse e draw out support slides un l they
reach a posi ve stop.
3. Lower the device on to the drawout support slides making use
of the li ing methods described here. Carefully verify that the
rollers
ed to the mobile part of this device are correctly
engaged on the slides. ( g. 1.6)
4. Push the circuit breaker into the casse e un l it reaches a
posi ve stop. The circuit breaker is now in the DISCONNECTED
posi on.
5. With a screwdriver, turn the racking handle shu er drive
clockwise (Fig. 1.7), insert the racking handle and rotate
clockwise to rack the circuit breaker into the casse e. As the
breaker approaches the TEST posi on check the alignment of
the xed and moving parts of the secondary circuit isola ng
contacts.
6. Keep on rota ng the racking handle clockwise. The racking
drive indicator will move from the DISCONNECTED to TEST and
nally to the CONNECTED posi on. As the cluster of the mobile
parts start engaging with the contacts on the casse e the force
required to turn the racking handle increases sharply.
