Transport

Only transport the diaphragm valve

by suitable means. Do not drop. Handle
carefully.

Delivery and performance

Check the goods for completeness and

damage immediately upon receipt.
The scope of delivery is apparent from

the dispatch documents and the design
from the order number.
The function of the diaphragm valve is

checked at the factory.

Storage

Store the diaphragm valve so that it is dust

and moisture in its original packaging.
Avoid UV rays and direct sunlight.

Maximum storage temperature: 40°C.

Solvents, chemicals, acids, fuels or the

like must not be stored in the same room
as valves and their spare parts.

Tools needed

The tools required for installation and

assembly are not included in the scope
of delivery.
Use appropriate, functional and safe

tools.

GEMÜ 650 is a metal diaphragm valve with
a 2/2-way, T or tank bottom valve body or
in multi-port design. The valve has a piston
actuator and an optical position indicator as
standard. All metallic actuator components
are made of stainless steel. "Normally closed
(NC)", "Normally open (NO)" and "Double
acting (DA)" control functions are available.
The valve body and the diaphragm are
available in various designs as shown
in the data sheet. The valve has CIP/SIP
cleaning and sterilising capabilities (auto-
clave capability dependent on version).
Diverse accessories are available, such as
stroke limiters, electrical position indicators,
positioners.
