This guidance applies to the Kongskilde Multiair blower
model FCE 1000 series with external control box.
Preface:
The Multiair FCE 1000 versions are all shipped with a
main users manual (123 021 991). This users manual
(123 021 996) supplements the main manual for Multi-
air FCE 1000 models.
This guidance explains how to install the power supply
and thermistor cable, and the potential equalizing cable
from the control box onto the Multiair blower.
Furthermore, cleaning and maintenance of the control
box filters are shown.

Warning notes:

Avoid accidents by always following the instructions
given in this guidance.
Always disconnect electricity prior to installing, connect-
ing or servicing, and ensure that electricity cannot be
restored by accident until the entire system has been
finalized.
The working area around the blower and control box
should be clear and trip free, and have sufficient room
to make a troublefree installation. Make sure that there
is adequate lighting when performing the connections.
Take care not to cut or scratch hands and arms when
working on the blower and supplied parts, sharp edges
can occur.

Electrical installation:

The final connection must be completed by a qualified
electrician.
All local factory inspectorate regulations must also be
complied with.
All electrical installations must comply with applicable
law. See also the separate instructions for the Multiair
blower´s electrical equipment, located inside the blow-
er, and the main users manual.

Connection of the blower:
1 - remove blower covers screws on both sides, and lift
away both covers.
2 - remove the 4 screws holding the upper panel in
place, loosen the drain hoses at the bottom support,
and remove the upper panel. If necessary, push down
the panel to release it from the side enclosures.
